Full-time interpreter-assistant and guide

If you want to avoid having to think about any travel-related arrangements before and during the trip, you are welcome to hire our worker, who'll become your full-time interpreter-assistant and guide for the whole time of your trip.

In this case, your guide will start making arrangements for your trip according to the itinerary beforehand. He/she will make all necessary lodging and transport arrangements for your trip, make all necessary reservations, etc. The cost of his/her time at this stage of making arrangements will be $60. 

Note: These arrangements should be made at least a week before your arrival to Ukraine. Any last-minute arrangements or changes made less than a week before your arrival, or during the trip, will cause additional complications to your guide's work and will be charged at a double price.

When you enter Ukraine, the same person will meet you in the airport (or at your first destination in Ukraine), and support you till the end of your trip. He/she will travel with you everywhere and take care of all daily arrangements, reservations, trip-plan changes, meetings, and will be your guide in sightseeing, cultural issues, communication with local people, etc.

The advantages of this service are evident – your interpreter-assistant will think about every detail of the trip, protect your interests in any cultural situations, and negotiate better prices for you everywhere. The cost of the interpreter's work during the trip will be $60 per day, plus covering of his/her lodging and transportation expenses (we have very inexpensive lodging for our workers in all cities).

Distant interpreter

Recently, DU introduced a new service, which has proved to be very efficient, and many individual travelers appreciate it very much. This is the so-called distance interpreting, which works this way.

• On entering Ukraine, you'll need to have a cell phone with a local number (our company can provide you a phone, or you may use your own phone with a local Sim-card; the cost of the card is less than $10, and they are available everywhere in stores).

• We will provide you two phone numbers of our workers, who will always be in touch with you by phone. Each of these workers will have copies of your trip itinerary and will be able to assist you at the distance at any moment, about any issue that comes up.

• whenever you need to communicate with anyone during your trip, you can dial the number of your distant interpreter, explain your request to her, and give the phone to the person you are communicating to at the moment. Your distant interpreter will immediately talk to any person/office by phone from your name. This way, you can negotiate prices and discuss services with taxi drivers, apartment owners, ticket offices, etc.

This service provides a perfect solution for those who prefer to travel individually, and to «taste» all the local cultural experiences by themselves. If you do not want to pay the expense of your interpreter's stay and travel, and if you do not need an interpreter at hand all day, use the distant interpreter's services, and you will feel absolutely safe everywhere. The cost of this service is $1 per minute.
