Izmail
The town is situated 80km from the Black Sea on the left coast of Danube. In XII on the place of modern Izmail there was Genues fortress, which belonged to Moldavia princedom. In XVI the fortress was occupied by Turk. Later it was destroyed Cossacks under the direction of O.Suvorov.

Christmas Church, 1823, Kutuzov Street, 24. The church has a unique archaic construction without decoration.
Unspenska Church, 1841, the fortress.
Small Mosque, XVI. The only building remained from the Turkish fortress which was considered to be the best in the world. In 1810 was converted into a garrison church.
