Skiing in Ukraine
Every year the Carpathian ski resorts attract skiing lovers to visit Ukraine. In spite of the fact that the winter is over and spring has come, there is still much snow in the Carpathians. According to the information provided by Mass Media, this year the number of tourists evidently decreased in the ski resorts. The renters and hotels decreased prices for lodging almost double.
In Bukovel the so-called "half luxury" room for two costs 310 hrn (less than $40) per night. For comparison, in Spring of 2008 it costed 400-650 hrn ($50-$70).
On the ski resort in Slavskoye of Lviv region some private hotels requires the price for 50 hrn. per night.
