Lviv Rock Festival

On the 29 of June Lviv will host the annual rock festival “Stare Misto”. It’s planned that this year the headliner of the festival will be a rock band from New York – Gogol Bordello, the band which is considered to be a founder of the style of “gypsy punk” in rock music. The leader of Gogol Bordello, by the way, is a Ukrainian musician Yevgen Gudz.
Besides Gogol Bordello it’s expected that the festival will be visited by a Russian band Splin, Finnish Korpiklaani, and Ukrainian bands Vopli Vidoplyasova, Madheads XL and Gaidamaky. The festival will take place at the central stadium of Lviv – “Ukraine”. The cost of tickets is 80-120 UAH (10-16 USD).
