Near the city of Pervomaysk, one can visit a Museum of Strategic Rocket Troops. A former military base was turned into a museum displaying rocket engines, rocket-carriers, fuel-filling tools, samples of nuclear warheads and a sample of Ð -12 rocket - the one that played the key role during the Caribbean Crisis of 1961.
