Starting from October, 2008, a new low-cost airline company will operate in Ukraine, according to the message of the Minister of Transport and Communication of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Transport Ministry conducts final negotiations with Air Arabia Airline Company which are due to be finished by the first of October, and in the beginning of October the Airbus airplanes will start flying to Ukrainian cities.
Another Airline Company from Great Britain has also applied to operate in Ukraine. A week ago the corresponding agreement was arranged with the British company and the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Ukraine.
Also, the Ukrainian minister said that the low-cost flights will be profitable on the distances of more than 400 km. On the short distances, the railway connections will be developing.
On May, 20, 2008, the Airbus A320 of Wizz Air Ukraine airline carried out the first flight between Kiev and Odessa.
